We have been working extremely hard during our Maths lessons this week. We have been writing expressions to help us solve problems! Here is one we looked at during Monday’s lesson. How many different expressions can you write to help work out how many dots there are in the diagram?
Today, we watched the trailer for the new BFG film! We wrote a short narrative, varying our sentence openers to create atmosphere and tension. By using adverb, adjective and verb openers, we were able to produce some fantastic, detailed and descriptive pieces of writing. We then challenged ourselves to try and include a three prepositional phrase sentence opener, in order to up-level our work!
How many different ones can you think of? Comment below!
