Our friend Esa demonstrated how to make a paper bird to our class. We had lots of fun and think they look great!
We were visited today by Merseyside Police, who came in to our class to talk about knife crime. We watched a video about the dangers of carrying knives and the devastating impact it can have on individuals and people close to them.
We have started our new English unit which is based around the book ‘Dreams of Freedom’.
We started by analysing photos and discussing different themes that they could be about.
This led to discussions about antonyms and synonyms for different word choices.
We were visited by the lovely Jean Barlow this week, who worked with our class to explore the benefits of peer massage. We loved our session and felt so relaxed afterwards.
Today in groups we helped each other by giving compliments and promoting resilience. We also played cooperation games.
Today we have been building our resilience by learning to trust more. We all worked with a partner and took part in a Trust Walk.
